The event is Saturday, August 9, at the Hoogland Center for the Arts in Springfield, IL, beginning at 11:00 a.m. In early June, those who have registered and paid will receive music and learning tracks for 4 songs from the Society catalog. The singers must know the music and be ready to sing by August 9. At the event, singers will be randomly assigned to quartets. There will be a short time to practice as a quartet before singing in a contest at approximately noon. The quartets will then be re-drawn and a second contest will take place around 2:30.
Cost: $20 per man, there is a discount if you bring your entire quartet. The singers will still be assigned to random quartets for Platoon purposes. The price is set to cover our costs, including shipping, etc.
